Origin of the pills?
One day, Frei Galvão was approached by a gentleman very distressed because his wife was in labor and in danger of losing his life.
Frei Galvão wrote three confetti verse of the Office of the Blessed Virgin: Post partum Virgo, Inviolata permansisti: Dei Genitrix intercede pro nobis (After birth, O Virgin, you remained intact: Mother of God, intercede for us).
Gave them to the man, who in turn took them to his wife. The woman ingested the confetti that Frei Galvão coiled like a pill, and the child was born normally.
Similar case was with a young man who estorcia with pain caused by visicais calculations.
Frei Galvão made other similar pills and gave them to the boy. After ingesting the confetti, the young cast out the calculations and was cured.
This was the origin of the miraculous confetti, which has since been highly sought after by devotees of Frei Galvão, and even today the monastery provides for people who have faith in the intercession of the Servant of God.
